Forms pairs or family groups of 3 to 4 individuals.

Feeds on small insects and spiders, searching anxiously in bark and dry rolled leaves.

During rainy season can be found in forest edges, shaded gardens, bushes or roadsides.

This Wren is endemic from Southern Pacific Costa Rica to Western Panama.

All species of Wrens have an exquisite song.
